wtf is wrong with your logic? They are both fictional. Motoko Kusanagi is a also a fictional character, and not to mention she's in a universe where people can switch memories to different bodies. So if anything, it's possible for Motoko Kusanagi to have a white woman body. The Fullmetal Alchemist characters and setting are obviously intended to be medieval European so most people with common sense will associate the characters as white people. I hope this explanation is logical enough for you. This is a similar case with Attack of the Titans and Terraformars live-action, so obviously the Japanese couldn't give a damn about the race of the actors. |
