Called it! Saito Soma is casted!!! Now I can say Haikyuu characters Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima, and Yamaguchi are taking a break from volleyball to play some baseball!
But anyways, I am looking forward to Battery!! |

That's not exactly a hard call given that somebody on the noitaminA production committee clearly has a thing for or stake in this guy. I have reasonable hopes for a noitaminA series for the first time in a while here so hopefully it isn't ruined by commercialism and need to please production committees like so many recent ones. The block has gotten way off of it's an initial goal in recent years, this looks like a series to bring it back so fingers crossed but not getting my hopes up too too much. Still wish Sony Music would get the hell out of the block as a production committee member but if it's just some music promotion and at least some fresh artists for a change you could do worse. If they have any say in the actual shows overall production though kiss most of it's potential goodbye though. If noitaminA manages to fudge up a simple baseball story about male bonding and camaraderie that's the last I'll ever speak of or entertain the block period. |
