Just make sure it's an actual character. One time some one used a piece of food.

Don't worry he's not food =P. Though I did have to check to make sure in the Encyclopedia here that it wasn't in violation of 2i since there are somethings in it and graphic things in that anime I was wondering about for the transforming thing.

Since going to bed soon and no one guessed yet. Going to give the first of 4 hints. They will progressively give slightly more information about the anime & character in the picture. First hint will be slightly vague but can lead you to the right direction of genre / setting. Since I know at times with just a face it might be pretty vague.
