Not that specifically, but they occasionally air specials that showcase what's going on elsewhere, like what Dent and Iris are doing post Best Wishes, and Alan was introduced in those TV specials.

Yeah we did miss out on the Dawn, Brock, Cilan, and Iris specials but America did get the Mega Evolution Specials
