Holy. Shit. Please be a finale to this amazing series. I swear no other anime did what this did with the endin.. it got so close to the final battle on both of the different sides but chose to end right before it. Literally. Right. Before. It. Please don't be another side story or alternate version, we need a damn conclusion already

Has the manga finally progressed enough to finish the Nationals arc? It was a bit disappointing (although predictable) that the Zenkoku-hen anime didn't get any further than the quarter finals. And Biyori was only a side-story. Anyway, I hope they bring back the visual fireworks (though not the fanservice) of the first season. The later seasons were toned down quite a bit in that regard.

No. They just finished up the semifinals and there's the match for fifth place before we get to the finals. I hope they won't spend as time on that as they did on the semifinals, though... (which was 46 chapters, which is almost 4 years if you consider that the manga releases one chapter every month and be blissfully ignorant of all the times the mangaka took a break, which was a lot by the way) This announcement will be one of 4 things: - Semifinals arc anime - Shinohayu anime (spin-off) - Live-action series - Pachinko |

You think they'd seriously make a whole anime season out of just four games?  They wouldn't, right?

Manga is still in the B-finals(first round), you'll probably have to wait atleast 5 years, if not more.
Just like S2 of the anime you mean? It also only covered 10 rounds. And shinohayu is just a standard spinn-off, how is it a spin-off of a spin-off? |

I think they have had enough seasons. If they were to remove the yuri/GL moments, then I welcome another season.
