Jubilee is playing Koyomi?!?!
 Well that's a pleasant surprise! However, why is it I get the feeling the movie is gonna skip Koyomi's younger years? They better not do that if Jackie Earle Haley's villain character is spoiler[Makaku] or for a less spoilery term, the first antagonist from the manga.)

Is it just me, or would Willem Dafoe be a pretty good match for the role? That's probably typecasting though. It sounds kind of like they're going to hit the rollerball arc and merge it with one or two others. That way if it's a runaway success they'll have plenty of material for later movies and a fairly straightforward path to adaptation. The pacing is a little uneven and the narrative in Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita wanders all over the place, so in many ways I'd welcome a rewrite that smooths those issues out. |

Being an an Asian-American (Vietnamese), they did the right thing by having at least 1 Asian-American playing an Asian character.
