Sweet. I've been wanting to see this movie. I'm a fan of some of Shinkai-san's works, and this one is probably just as good. Even if it's the dub I'll watch it. haha. I just now went to try and program my DVR to grab it... and it seems it's too early for that Sad

Movies looks really good.
Don't see the issue, here.

People ought to be excited for this. Even if the timeslot seems pretty ridiculous.

Yeah I agree with the point he made. I've never heavily associated Toonami with movies. I used to watch the black really heavily back when I was a kid and the only movies I ever remember them showing were some of the Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon ones, and those tended to be infrequent from what I can recall.

The general pattern I'm seeing with this current Toonami is that they show movies towards the end of the year. I admit they tend not to stand out to me much either, but they really don't get promoted much.

This sounds like a fascinating film. One I'll definitely be seeing when it appears on Toonami in November. I've never seen it before so this'll be new on me.

I would have DVR'd it, but I didn't even know about it until seeing the ad during the commercial block of Hunter X Hunter this weekend - which was obviously too late to do so. Since I've already deleted last weeks recording of Hunter, did I just miss the promos (Oct 29/30) or did Toonami do a poor job of promotion?
