It's part of the theme. Is is really lesbian? How would you define it. Because the Major is completely 100% cyborg. She can freely swap between male and female bodies on the fly. So how do you define sexuality in that context? |

It looks good, its projecting some serious channeling of the franchise.
I'm not so keen on the near nudity during the assassination run, which doesn't make sense she never was nearly nude. She was wearing camo gear. My biggest issue aside from changing the Major's origin again was "She first of her kind" stuff. She was NEVER only one of her kind, she maybe new generation. Maybe the trailer is skipping on stuff. I am treating this as a one-off in the franchise, hope hell they don't mess up the overall franchise. It looks good, certainly giving a feel of Ghost in the Shell, but I'm leery in giving it more than that until I see it. There bound to be haters walking in and giving crap about the changes. There been multiple interpretations of the original Manga. I love the Manga and the original author's style. He not involved anymore, so i'm not killing myself over the changes. |
