Never played the game myself, but a lot of my friends (girls included) who have played commented that they can never see their home cats the same way again...
Does it have a lots of fan service though (the visual novel-level of fanservice of course)? If that is the case, OVA format might grant producers much more liberties

As far as I know, there's not much worth in this VN if you don't like moe and straight porn.
That's pretty much the reason why I never played those.

I have only ever played the Steam version of the first game. No wish to play the adult one.
To be honest it wasn't all that great. A cookie-cutter, generic, slice of life with some nice pictures of cat girls. There is no plot to speak of. The fanservice isn't really in your face. There really wasn't much point in playing. So unless these were H-OVAs with porno cat-girls, I think there really won't be a point. Unless you really like catgirls and/or bakeries.

OVA? I hope it's hentai and not a borderline-H ecchi.

It's Sekai Project. They hate anything more than ecchi. Look at how they treat VNs with sex in them, hide them on Denpasoft which barely gets any publicity. Though they are giving it more publicity now than they used.
Anyway, yet another friggin' Kickstarter from Sekai Project? Nope. Sod off. Surely they are big enough now to not need to abuse crowdfunding.

Unless it getting animated in the US, I doubt Sekai is the one in charge.

For the sake of me avoiding hentai, I'm just going to hope the NekoPara OVA isn't a hentai. At the same time, though, I won't be upset if it is a hentai, considering it's based off of an eroge; I'll just mind my own business and let those still willing to watch it enjoy it.

It's a kickstarter. I very much doubt it's a full-blown hentai. Plenty of ecchi fanservice, on the other hand...
