I can't help but be underwhelmed by this. The PV showed off none of the artistic flair I equate with Shingo Natsume shows. Couple the lackluster production with a plot that sounds like Bureaucracy: The Anime, and man is my excitement completely deflated.

Judging by the PVs this show seems to be more grounded than any of Natsume's previous works (which isn't surprising since it's a drama written by Natsume Ono). Nice to see him try something new. I don't have very high expectations of this series but I do hope it'll at least be as pleasant as House of Five Leaves and Ristorante Paradiso. Since the manga is only 5 volumes this will be a single cour show.

Still seems interesting but i have lowered my expectations.
1st bold: maybe there saving the flair for the premiere that way you'll be even more surprised when you see it. 2nd bold: thats a good thing if you ask me, i was hype asf for prince of stride when i saw the trailers and was completely underwhelmed by the anime. So now at least if its bad you wont be severely disappointed and if its good you'll be pleasantly surprised. |
