2016 has just been awful. It started out all right, but with the steady stream of talented celebrity deaths, the increasing venom and hostility of a certain presidential election and other elements in the news I'm not taking too kindly to, it's a depressing cap to what's been a disgusting 2 years for me personally.
The triple-threat sucker punch of George Michael (whose music I wasn't a fan of, but still tragic that he died on Christmas when he once sang a song called LAST CHRISTMAS!), Carrie Fisher and then her poor mother the day after her just sums it all up. 2016 is all like "HEHEHEHEH WATCH ME KILL ALL THESE PEOPLE YOU LIKE ONE AFTER ANOTHER WHILE YOU SQUIRT TEARS ABOUT IT! YOU SISSIES!" So R.I.P. to everyone who passed this year. Let's hope and pray that the world tones it down a bit for lucky number 7. |
