This idea is similar to how American copyright is supposed to work (public benefits from the promotion of the arts and sciences). Even better is that this involves "legal" fan works.

Anything done by these doujin artists based off Wonder Momo will be infinitely better than the anime. There was absolutely nothing right about it.
