Several of my ancestors were having kids later in life. The women were giving birth in their forties, and their husbands were older than them. I'm in my 20's and one of my great-grandparents was born over 150 years ago.

Giving birth at 70 is pushing it though, lol.

Alas, this mother won't live to see her newborn grow into even his late twenties... Sad

I love baby stories, and this looks creative and interesting...but I really want to read this one: Hyaka Kentaro's Pregnancy, a short story about a man who gets pregnant that was written to highlight discrimination. Or something like that....Anybody want to translate it?

This explains the whole "male pregnancy" thing, sort of:

https://www.buzzfeed.com/katienotopoulos/questions-about-mpreg-you-were-embarrassed-to-ask (omg not "safe for work" at all)

Go ahead and knock yourself out. Laughing

I highlighted the purpose of the story because it isn't meant to be a standard "MPreg story" (at least, as I understand the term, which is a story in which men get pregnant for comedic, romantic, or fetishizing effect). It's a story imagining a world in which men have the ability to get pregnant (in rare cases) in order to highlight the difficulties and discrimination pregnant women face in the real world...
...Although, I do admit that besides loving baby stories, ever since I saw Junior as a kid I've had a certain fascination with MPreg, so...

Just want to note, that while it is obviously not the "norm" I believe Japan has the highest rate of people over 100. If nothing else, the "current oldest person in the world" is often Japanese.

I can't help but laugh at the above comment. Now how would have thought of this?

Now to be honest there is a reason why folks don't have children past a certain age. But again their are cultures that have been known to bear children past menopause and live to be well over 100+ years.

The drawings are very sweet.
