I was hoping for trading to have been added before Gen 2 came around. While the gender specific thing is great if breeding and live battling were already in the game or would be shortly added, it seems unnecessary at this point. I've also noticed that some of the egg Pokemon have changed, with Pokemon like Scyther now hatching out of 5K eggs. I like the idea of having a berry that will give you double candy upon capture.
It'll be interesting to see how the game changes with dark and steel added to the mix. |

Sweet!
I just wish this update was happening closer to spring here. It's still too cold to walk downtown where all of the Pokestops are. Maybe I can try when the temps are going to steadily stay in the 50s. |

Yeah, after what, 8 months? I mean, that's faster than the actual main series, but still, releases from Game Freak always come out up to date. I know it'd be a bit much for a then-small company like Niantic, but it feels like after they struck gold, they've done relatively little. |
