2017: the year everyone gets a new season. It's like Oprah came to Japan. "You get a new season! And you get a new season!"

I'm still holding out for Spice and Wolf season 3. I will always be holding out for Spice and Wolf season 3.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the top 5 ranking is filled with huge franchises like Fate/Grand Order, Pokemon GO, Puzzles and Dragon, Monster Strike etc. You're delusional if you think Btooom! is big enough to compete with juggernauts like those.

The game actually looks surprisingly good for a mobile game, hopefully it can reach the top 5.

They're saying this, because they know it won't happen. This is the Japanese mobile market we're talking about here. For this to be in the top 5, it would have to be phenomenal. At best they get a few more downloads, which was probably the intention of the statement.

I can't read japanese but according to this japanese iTunes page, the apps is ranked #2 right now:

That's assuming that the Btoom app they are talking about is: https://itunes.apple.com/jp/app/btooom-onrain/id1180495370

I couldn't find a paid version of the app but I'm guessing it as in-app payments. I wonder if this is the type of ranking they're talking about or if it's something else.
