They just replaced him as a VA on Ensemble Stars :/ I feel so bad for him, I hope he recovers and gets some much needed rest.

We didn't forget. When we wrote "recent" we meant roles he's playing for currently airing anime or anime that will come out in the near future. We specifically wanted to point out roles where he might be replaced. And IBO is finished now.

I did change "recent" to "current" in the article though for clarity.

No, there are 2 movies left. If 5 is done then the last movie will be delayed. So he may cant make it.
Taneda Risa and Fujiwara Keiji are on hiatus now and no sign they will coming back. Though Hosoya said he will back at the end of 2017, there is a possibility that he cant return to work as soon as possible.

Get well Hosoya! You're one of the best modern VAs in the biz!! Without spoiling much, will Reiner have anymore screentime in AOT after episode 5 since I'm sure they were able to record some lines before Hosoya had to step away to recover?

I guess this means if there is going to be a second season of Yuri!!! on Ice, it won't be out until 2018 at the earliest, or Otabek won't be in it.

Either way, I'm sending all my best wishes to Hosoyan! I hope takes his time and relaxes during this hiatus - I'd prefer he recover thoroughly rather than quickly.

Yeah, Reiner is relevant to the season's content. So I'm actually concerned about the potential voice change.

Over past few years Hosoya was a very busy seiyuu who got many roles as main and supporting characters I am a afraid ones he returns to work his roles will be reduced.
