It no doubt is, but from what I saw at a site that loves to highlight fanservice scenes in anime , Brave Witches appeared to have noticeably less on that front to begin with. |
Yep. The first Blu-ray release showed promise with an uncensored bath scene from episode 1, but the remainder of the remotely ecchi scenes in the show were tame by comparison. Still I enjoyed the show as a whole and I plan on getting it when it comes out here. I'll be looking forward to the dub, and I wonder how they will cast the characters. The only ones they have to worry about bringing back are Eila and Sanya's VAs since they are featured prominently in a few episodes, including the upcoming 13th (OVA) episode. I know Mio and Yoshika were pictured in a couple episodes, but I don't think they had any speaking moments in Brave Witches at all.

They've done that before. Season 3 of DxD was the censored version, which was later swapped for the uncensored one when the discs were on sale.

Brave Witches getting an English dub made my day. Monical Rial will be playing Sasha, and Nipa's VA is also already decided since they were both in the Strike Witches Movie.
Other than Eilanya and Nipasha, FUNi has a lot of women to cast

we'll find out on sunday, but it's extremely unlikely they will be given uncensored video while its still airing

OK I was under the impression that it had 2 broadcast versions one censored and one uncensored.

The AT-X version would be uncensored but that isn't normally consider "broadcast" since it is a premium satellite channel.
