Yes. The "Long-awaited digital restoration" section in the Blu-ray booklet states, "The 35mm interpositive for this film was scanned at 4K and converted to 2K"..."the dark areas that had become dull and lost details were also carefully remastered"..."the sound has also been faithfully remastered".
