Is the World Trigger English dub going to wind up like Pretty Cure's? At least Pretty Cure's dub was on a TV channel people had.

The next time someone asks "Whatever happened to Bandai Entertainment?", remind them they released, dubbed, and then put Panda-Z: The Robonimation in an Anime Legends box set.

It is airing on a very obscure US channel called Primo TV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyBDy9a8PD4

I sent the news to ANN back in January, but they didn't run a story about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For fans of the FX show "You're the Worst", Kether " Lindsay Jillian" Donahue played Midori in the NY dub of "Midori Days".

Tubi TV is actually available in the UK.
The anime section includes... Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
And by includes I mean, that's it.

So the high-concept oddity that is Midori Days returns from oblivion. How very 'handy'.

Actually a fairly cute show--the "Right hand girlfriend" joke that's springing to everyone's mind right now is alluded to once, and, dispensed with, duly forgotten, so we can concentrate on the characters--just that it was another underground digisub favorite that happened to get its big mainstream dub during the Bubble, and became another casualty of it.

And well known enough to have even been plot-specific parodied in an episode of Sgt. Frog, but that may have just been an in-joke about just sharing the same manga magazine.

On the other hand, Pretty Cure didn't air on TV in the U.S. at all...
