No, Nichijou is about random nonsense that can happen in otherwise everyday life, and also how even if their are crazy things about your life, it does not make you any more of a lesser being of having normal feelings and the like. A normal situation can suddenly shift to being quite crazy from it being a big deal to a particular person, from an outsider you can be left totally dumbstruck of something turned into a big deal which you might hardly be able to explain, and you can ignore an otherwise strange part of a person if you can enjoy their company.
