Another treasure lost to the postwar was the Honjo Masamune. The Allies were kind of jerks in that regard with poor tracking of such cultural treasures.

It wasn't just that, they forced the Japanese to dump a ton of their treasured swords into the sea in a disarmament agreement. Many were recovered, but there was no way they could find and salvage all of them.
