Will the story continue with animation that looks like it wasn't done by a 5-year old?

There's always a possibility of a story continuing but a lot of them dont get that luxury.

The Manga moves at an extremely slow pace, it is best the Anime and wait another 10 or so years and have a full adaptation from start to finish with 2D animation.

I guess we Berserk fans really are doomed to suffer along with everyone in the manga.

But since the manga and anime are always ending and starting at the same time, the manga readers have another reason to hate the anime

I'd believe it. We manga readers could always reread the manga while we wait, the anime watchers are better off staring at a wall than watching PlayStation 2 Berserk again.

Damn. At least the Band of the Hawk got the sweet release of death. Berserk fans continue to suffer to this very day.

Eh, the visuals don't bug me that much. Sure, they could be a whole lot better. I'm just here for the hairy-chested story-telling, actually.

"The Story Continues"... just not in the anime, as S01E12 had very a different stinger at the end.
It blatantly said, "Spring 2017: The next Arc Arrives" with a bit of teaser footage. None of that can be found here, so i am free of my curse. No more anime Very Happy ! At least in form of TV seasons or films, as they could still pull a final OVA. The production company somehow released a Terra Formars OVA last month that jumped by multiples volumes ahead in the story. WTF? PSX graphics Sea God may still be upon us.

This week´s Grunbeld novel is further written by the anime head writer. I will lol pretty hard if it gets adapted as a final "gift" to the fans (nice art on the pages by Miura btw).

And about the anime: Berserk 2016 was truly "bad" but S02 got noticeably worse and is one of the very VERY worst TV anime i ever saw in my 20 years of watching.

At least the Japanese fanbase managed to hate Berserk 2012-17 as much as the west and all of these were finical bombs too, so the producers finally managed to salt the earth for this shovelware trash.
No seriously, the noticeably unfinished and underfunded Musou game (that one broke even) somehow ended up as the best adaptation since the PS2 game in 2004. What even happened...
