Okay, so I recently heard Ginban Kaleidoscope had an official Animax dub, but if there are official DVD's, I've had no luck finding them.

Are Animax dubs never put on DVD?

I'm in Region 1 DVD territory, by the way.

From what I understand, Animax only has broadcasting rights for their dubs, not home release rights.

Well you could ask Sony as they are the major company behind Animax and stuff like Kurozuka (produced by Animax + Madhouse) and Ultraviolet: Code 044 (Animax+Sony) did get DVD MOD dub releases in NA. I believe the dubs were originally produced so that they would stream on Crackle (owned by Sony) here in the US. Also Nodame Cantabile got its English dub first streamed on Animax Asia for Southeast Asia and I believe has only been released on DVD in Australia (Region 4). But it might have only got a dub for its first season? Not sure.

Aniplex, which is owned again by Sony is on the production committee of Ginban. So its a Sony/Aniplex thing which means its a crap-shoot if it will ever see the light of day on DVD.

So are Animax dubs put on DVD? Sometimes.
