Dated is one thing. You can look at a high budget OVA like Megazone 23 or film like Venus Wars and call it "dated", but the problem with LoGH isn't its age but that art wasn't the priority.

I see.
Then again, art isn't everything to an anime and such, there's also story and characters, sometimes anime with beautiful art/animation still can suck if characters are unlikable and the story is incoherent. |
