I'm pretty sure the original game's music was completely synthesized (probably including some real pianos and vocals), so the composer is going to go back and redo the music with live performers/instruments.

So other than "4K" res. Are there any story differences or gameplay enhancements? I never played this game so I am curious if this is the definitive edition or something'?

Honestly considering how much crap Atlus got for the orginal in the west, and the way gaming media has turned in the last few years it will take a pretty strong publisher to release this in the west.
