Considering it had an original anime ending...I can see where this is going.

I kinda hope this means they can get rid of the anime original ending and go straight towards if they have the material for it. However I wonder what changed their minds on Kakegurui I heard it wasn't all that great in Japan. Does Netflix have something to do with it?

As I Said, the so called anime original ending didn't really change anything, it only changed the game for the final duel, the outcome and storyline was kept the same. So no problem there

People are focusing too much on the fact that the last episode was anime original when the real problem is that there isn't nearly enough material for a second season with the current manga arc being nowhere near its conclusion.
And then there's the problem that this is a Mappa anime and we all know that Mappa and "good original stories" are things that don't go together. After the fiasco that was SnB Virgin Soul I've deemed them completely incompetent when it comes to writing. |
