Even though I generally like sweet things, I find them too sweet, with a texture that should not be sweet.

Episode 5

In regard to the final segment, where he bet the rain would stop after 5, so he would win either way at either being able to watch his show or get Takagi to do something, I get the feeling it was unknowingly switched around, that she would win either in being able to spend more time with him.

I like how he sucks so much at holding a poker face, and she is so good at it. That she clearly over reacted when he guessed, saying it was wrong, and then revealing it was a double bluff. It does seem clear why she has a good time messing with him. He is never going to keep anything from her when they start dating.

Somehow I'm a bit mindblown that Takagi is voiced by the same VA as Megumin from Konosuba. Even the singing voice is entirely different.

She's Emilia in Re:Zero too. She's been getting a lot of work lately.

ERMG, TAKAGI, JUST TELL HIM. HE'S NEVER GONNA GET IT.

I got mad when she said "Just lying; tee-hee"

Rolling Eyes

Got a kick out of the shoujo manga though. They are absolutely imitating Ribon shoujo manga, judging from the cover of the book. Anime hyper

That's funny because Nisekoi did it too.

Episode 2. English lesson. Turn left at the post office to find the train station (paraphrased)

Is this a stock phrase for English lessons in Japan? More or less the same phrase was used when Suzu Hagimura gave directions in English to a foreigner in one episode of Setokai Yakuindomo.

I'd link a video on Youtube but I don't know if that would violate ANN's TOS. But if you searched for "Hagimura swearing" you'd find it. (She has a height complex)

As usual, Nishikata is totally oblivious, even when he’s won! With next week being the last episode, I hope we get an actual confession from Takagi.

An interesting thing to note is the fact that the three friends we always see are actually from a separate manga!

Although if you look at it from a purist point of view he didn't actually get her. The true definition of "getting her" would be for him to hatch a plan to tease her and have it succeed. This did not happen. In fact, he's not even aware of the impact he had. So:

Takagi: 1,000,000 and Nishikata: 0.
