Believe me when I say the majority of traditional comic book fans, even the guys who do tolerate anime, are not going to like this.

No one cares about those people and that's completely fine.

As was already mentioned you're projecting if DC and Warmer Bros. Want to license out one of their IP's to a Japanese animation studio to create a unique project like this (and use CG) that's their decision not yours. And if you hate it you're free to watch all those previous Batman cartoons even cheaply/traditionally animated ones.

I have always seen Batman as an absurdity hiding in plain sight. A billionaire battling thugs in a bat costume is a concept only a child could take seriously without suspending disbelief, yet mainstream adult viewers nonetheless play along.
"Batman, but he's a ninja" is par for the course in this respect. Someone born of a childish flight of fancy only deserves to be further modified in the same fanciful fashion.
I would actually prefer for them to embrace the silly campy side of Batman more often than this obsession they have with Batman always being overly serious and dark and angsty. You would think they would figure this out when The Lego Batman movie is probably the most successful post-Nolan Batman movie. I just hope this will be on more of the fun and entertaining side than the super serious angsty side and this will at least be not as boring as those mediocre Marvel anime series they tried to attempt several years ago.

Cool looking what-If project. It looks like their trying to go and grab potential fans in US and Japan with this one. It looks like it's well done, but i'm not completely sold with dub cast.

Sorry I'm late, but the US bluray according to Amazon seems to be dub only, which is pretty stupid, seeing as the setting is literally in Japan.

If they don't offer a sub, they shouldn't be surprised if people pirate it.
