I liked that geekish approach to screenwriting - they basically took some phenomenon about illusions or human psyche... and turn it into the story.
Very entertaining story, have to say Anime smile.

I finished watching the series this morning. A fun show if a little light on any substantial concepts (I did enjoy Haruhiko's lessons at the beginning of each episode though). The series climax should have really been built up through the latter half of the series' episodes in place of some of the phantom of the week ones we got instead. That said I still enjoyed it but I understand that the bar for KyoAni series is higher than most given the high-quality output they've had on the past.
