On the subject of twins that didn't make the list, I can think of two pairs of twin sisters with ESPer powers, Kurumi and Manami Kasuga from Kimagure Orange Road and Tomomi and Mikage Matsunaga from Miracle Girls.
Both manga/anime series do the "one twin is smart and reserved, one twin is good at sports and energetic" disparity and both sets of twins can teleport, though the Kasuga twins also have telekinesis and hypnosis powers whereas the Matsunaga twins can do telepathy so the ESPer abilities somewhat differ between the two series but still the character dynamic between the two sets of twins is similar enough that I strongly suspect Kimagure Orange Road was at least a partial influence on Miracle Girls. |
