So it was an anime adaptation. Considering UtT had 3 cours, I expect this to be 2 cours.

I am unfamiliar with Karakuri Circus, but I like the recent Ushio & Tora anime. I wonder how long the anime will be and if MAPPA is also involved.

Hmm, Karakuri Circus has 426 chapters while Ushio to Tora has 313, so i don't get your logic of KC being a shorter anime, it's the opposite, it needs to be longer.

Yeah, if they're animating the entire series (and if they're not, why even adapt a long-completed manga?) then they're going to need it to be a yearlong, 4-cour anime.

YES ! U&T was only the warming for Kazuhiro Fujita :
Karakuri Circus is better, longer, stronger, etc...: the MCs are older and the entire serie is like one big arc, with very few standalone stories and many twists and cliffhangers.

I'd given up hope of this happening like a decade ago. I am eight flavors of excited to watch this one and like everyone else I hope they cover the entire manga (including some of the smaller arcs like the crazy tiger arc).

not to mention to be perfectly honest the Ushio & Tora anime could have really done better with an extra cour to work with, so it really should be longer.

You could argue there are two main arcs (and another short, introductory arc in the very first volumes), with the battle of Sahara right between them.
