I don't know anything about the story and the trailer makes it look like a typical shounen like Naruto (heck, the main character sounds like Naruto/Luffy/etc) but like still super congrats to the creator
I still think it's pretty cool a French comic is getting a proper animation
kinda living the whole young weeb "I'm going to be famous mangaka!!!" dream

Because it is archetypical One Piece/Fairy Tail-inspired shounen, except it's made by French. Very Happy
So yes, the trailer isn't trying to lie at all.

Ah, I see. Didn't want to dismiss it as generic shounen type story without knowing anything about it. Guess now I see why it got picked up for an anime

Looks super cool. These stories always have a lot of heart to them and this is why they are super fun. We need this in this hyper-negative society of ours. Looking forward to it.

I might actually consider buying it. I really like the style.

There are subtle differences between the various words for magic-using folk.
