I'm not a fan of CG at all...but that won't stop me from checking this out. For awhile, I had given up on this series ever getting an anime adaption...

I'm sorry but what is the CG here? After watching that trailer, all I'm seeing is 2D arcade and console graphics mixed with 2D anime. This is what the anime adaptation was expected to have. Is there something I'm missing here?

The characters are not animated in the traditional 2D way; they're rather based on 3D models. You can see it for example in some of their movements or how the camera moves around them, especially the shot behind the girl starting from 0:54 or the brief shot of the boy's reaction at 1:13. These kind of smooth movements and roundness are a giveaway that a 3D structure served as a base model on top of which traditional 2D shading has been put to give the characters a traditional "anime" look. |

So... i just read this yesterday and started reading the manga (and i already catched up) so I'm really waiting for this, as I really loved it. CGI apart, I' m really excited, specially for the music (same composer as SFII) as while I was reading it, I listened SFII soundtrack in the moments they were at the arcade. AWESOME MANGA
