AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! |
NOT HAPPENING!!
they might do that here if this series get an english dub.
BUT the worse case scenario is that they do an build fighters and use the animax asia english dub version to get the Australian accent accurate. and that would doom this series in the US immediately!
they need to get these teases over with and just do what the fans want. and that is an actual remake of the 0079 TV series instead of these one off UC stories like thunderbolt and NT!

"What the fans want" is a pretty broad statement. When it comes to UC, everyone wants something different really. For me, I'm glad for a new Unicorn series, as it's my favourite entry.
Although a remake of the original would also be nice.

well its pretty much the case. if you see the comments when they showed december sky, UC: RE , and the origin on their youtube channel, while they liked those series from the universal century timeline, but it pretty clear from those comments that they really want is a reboot of 0079! while its not unanimous, its more or less what gundam fans on both sides! and considering that this is the 30th anniversary, it would have been perfect to do a 0079 reboot! pretty much everyone thought it would happen! the fact that it didn't and especially since the origin movies are doing well enough was a wasted opportunity!

I wouldn't discount the idea of a remake yet. The director of Origin has said he's interested, and Bandai does love making money. I mean why else are we getting more idol nonsense instead of that sweet sweet Gundam? It sells, and a remake would DEFINITELY sell.

We can still hope since there is still a lot to ground to cover for anything beyond U.C. 0096.
