Incredibly hyped for this. I only wish the anime was coming out sooner.

Amazon is going to ruin this bad. They've already messed up release schedules for Wotakoi multiple times, how do you think they'll treat this here even as a big series?
This is a terrible trend.

And frankly, I rather see this become a hit and become a trend-setter for female leads in future SJ titles. |
Forgetting the fact that Jump has run manga with female leads begore among the most famous and popular being Dr. Slump.

And any other ones besides that? That's what I'm wishing for: starring female leads in popular Shounen Jump titles be more COMMON, not once-in-a-blue-moon.

Come to think about it, Noah's Notes is currently in the magazine and has a female lead. That being said, I haven't been paying attention to the rankings and it's a new series. That, and Mirai's the most fanservice-y female lead in Weekly Shonen Jump in quite a while, which is likely not what you have in mind.

^While still far from the norm, there have been at least a few series launched in Jump these last couple years feature Main/Lead heroines. Shudan! had a main trio with a girl as part of a co-ed soccer club, and this year's ACT-AGE starred an aspiring actress. Sadly, Shudan! got the ax a while back and ACT-AGE hanging out in the back of the magazine every week suggests it won't be far behind.

Oh yeah, I forgot about ACT-AGE. I only read the beginning parts of it though. I didn't know about Shudan! though.
Personally, I found ACT-AGE to be garbage, as far as the story goes (namely that it seems to treat acting the way Yu-Gi-Oh! treats card games, except ACT-AGE takes itself way more seriously), but then again, I didn't like Cross Manage either but a lot of other people do.
