I hate this. Why not have him come to AX, a con that is about anime and Japanese pop culture, instead they have him going to SDCC, a con for western pop culture.

At this point SDCC is just about pop culture in general, and Hero Academia is fairly mainstream. He'll fit right in there.

Pretty much. MHA is reaching DB/Naruto/AoT popularity in the states where people who dont even watch anime on the regular are getting in to it, and since superhero stuff basically runs SDCC it would almost be dumb NOT to have him.

I'd wager the comic industry wants to ride on his popularity. BHA outsells every single superhero comic book the industry puts out by a lot.

Bringing MHA to Comicon vs AX is great. I'm not going, but I'm still excited.

Also, the response on Twitter to this was hilarious. So many haters Rolling Eyes Laughing
