I am cautiously optimistic that this could be an announcement for the Part 5 anime. It sounds like David Productions will be wrapping up their Rohan OVAs, and with the director visiting Anime Expo this month, this would be great timing for the announcement.

Anyway, can anyone tell me what is so great about the JoJo series? I mean the ratings and the reviews are good and high and all. This year i bought the UK BD release. Im at ep 5 right now, the art is pretty stunning but the animation itself is not so vibrant in my opinion. What makes JoJo anime series so great ? |

I know what you are thinking "Mhh, it is ok, but does this really inspired 133 tv episodes, plus two OVAs not counting the original 13 episode OVA and the movie?". Now remember that what you are watching atm was written back in 1987-1989, that is nearly three decades and it is not something that got a "fresh coat of painting" to cover for its imperfections, it was animated as it was originally written. Very few anime stories endure the test of time. The other thing that jojo has is that it builds from its predecessors, what happens in part 1 is relevant in part 2 and beyond, is is not one of that series that you forget what it was all about one month after you last watched. So yeah, YMMV, but if by the end of part 2 I bet you will have an itch to see what is all the fuss about Star Crusaders. |

I think we'll see part 5 anime adaptation announcement and Maybe Tokyo Game Show we'll see the Rumored JoJo's fighting game made by French bread. Makers of Under Night in birth games.

They'll have to run out of Rohan one-shots to adapt and move on to Vento Aureo eventually.
