He was the voice behind various characters in pokémon franchise. So sad that In my life I haven't heard pokémon in its original language.

For Professor Oak, and Narrator for Pokemon, i think it would be Hiroshi Naka. But i don't know for Heihachi Mishima, since he died in the series in Tekken 7 right now. |

This is such sad news. RIP... His tendency to forget his own roles, his voice, and his interesting character will dearly be missed. T___T Sugita must be devastated too... (sigh)

No way, not Ishizuka too. He was such a great VA. I'll always love how he voiced Eugene in Tales of Rebirth. Mao has truly lost his papa panther now. T__T

I honesty felt like screaming Old Joseph's catchphrase upon seeing this news. I know that alot of the elder seiyu may be no longer with us at any time and am bracing for certain eventual deaths but Ishizuka-san? I thought he safely be around for quite awhile longer. His unique voice popping up in many more anime for years to come. It's always the unexpected ones that hurt the worst.
Farewell to the man who was Jet Black, JoJo Part 3 and 4's Joseph Joestar, FMB/Original manga version Van Hohenheim, Void of the Godhand, Sergei Smirnov, Guld Goa Bowman, Ryotaro Dojima, Kizaru, Zabuza Momochi, Professor Ookido/Oak and a fitting replacement to Daisuke Gouri as Mr. Satan and Heihachi Mishima. Well, this was a damper on an otherwise great day for me. The very first role I heard him in was as Zabuza Momochi in Naruto back when my brother was first getting into anime and I began watching more serious things. Since then, I've heard him in Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple as Sakaki, Wolf's Rain as Quent, Digimon Tamers as Sinduramon, and Mr. Satan from DBZ Kai. I had no idea until a couple of years ago that he provided the roars for Onix, Gyarados, Kingler, Ursaring, and so many others in Pokémon, let alone he provided the Japanese voices for Professor Oak and the Narrator (among others).
They say you never appreciate a talent until its loss. That said, I'll never forget those roars he made in my childhood. You'll be missed Ishizuka-san. Rest in peace. Here are some golden growls: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTqdKjZEZ7I |

He was like hundreds of characters/Pokémon in that series. And he pretty much has said almost every single Pokémon name that exists. |
