This has got to be the only Live Action movie of a Anime that I'm looking forward too

Hopefully we'll see a trailer soon. I've seen the director's earlier movie, The Chasing World, and while it had some minor campy moments it was still an overall fun sci-fi adventure film. So going by that, I'm cautiously optimistic for this adaptation, and at best hope it at least works on its own.
