No problem.
I'm not 100% sure, but that's the assumption I have based on what they've literally stated on https://www.viz.com/wsj-member "I get 3 MONTHS FREE added to my paid membership?! Yes, all paid annual members as of December 17, 2018 will receive an additional 3 MONTHS FREE. These 3 months will begin at the end of your current paid subscription. (This benefit is for annual memberships only.) " "What happens when my current annual paid membership expires? You’ll get 3 free months (if you were a paid annual member as of December 17, 2018)! After that, the new subscription rate is a flat $1.99 per month. There will no longer be annual/yearly subscriptions. " The trick here is, the December 10 issue is already up. If you subscribe now, are you added to the system as before December 17, or does it not kick in until the following week? I don't know the answer to this, as my subscription was grandfathered in from when it was physical. Logically it'd be the former, but heeeeey, loopholes. |
