As much as I love this series, I've felt like it's really been dragging its feet recently, so I hope that this announcement gives it the shot in the arm it needs to get itself over the finish line.

I hope the live action movie will be successful enough to regenerate interest in the series so maybe we could get a second season of the anime. I loved School Live a lot but at least the anime version of the first season ended at a good spot if that never happens.

This second arc outside of what was covered in the first season of the anime, is some Lord of the Flies type stuff. Not really progressing the story to a completion.
Get the feeling the manga is ending due to poor sales. So unless volume 11 and 12 move things along, we are probably going to have an unsatisfying ending. Hope I am wrong.

Last volume released in English certainly made it seem like it was about to lead somewhere ultimate, what with the new mission the girls decide to undergo. Very much looking forward to the conclusion of what turned out to be a real pleasant surprise of a series!

IDK seems unlikely that is the reason. Vol 10 looks like it sold rather well and not to mention a live action film that will most likely boost sales further. Even if the 11th sold poorly I doubt they would cut bait so soon.

Forget it, it's not going to happen. It'll be like the majority with no sequel.

This very much seems liked a planned ending. Considering the direction the story has been going I'm pretty sure this is just the natural conclusion.
And I don't expect it to be a pleasant one.

I am glad it is ending. It was beginning to drag until it went to its final arc. Shame about where the manga is taking direction
