In the 10+ showings of Alita at my local theatre on Friday night not a single seat has been pre-sold as of now. Saturday is running at about 15% per showing.

Super disappointing atm.

Kind of ironic in GITS's case since it had backing by interests in Mainland China. Hopefully Alita's built-in manga recognition will work more in the film's favor over there.
