Back to roots; I love it! Hopefully, the Pokémon anime does the same thing.

From what I've watched of it, I personally think Sun & Moon is one of the better Pokémon anime series. It focuses more on the slice of life part of the Pokémon world similar to the older anime series and has a likable cast of characters. It's less streamlined than previous series where it focuses more on the same old gym aspect so they're giving the show some variety. The art style is probably the only reason so many people are turned away from it but I believe it fits with the theme they were aiming for this time around Though, I guess if you don't like any of the characters for whatever reason, you will hate the anime |
