This is a very interesting blog post chronicling how Takao Saito (the creator of Golgo 13) adapted some James Bond stories into manga.

Fujiko Fujio) do the same thing with, say, Mickey Mouse back before they began work on Doraemon? I say they missed a massive opportunity to ask what was then-called Walt Disney Productions for permission to adapt some old Mickey shorts into manga, and it would have been pretty interesting to see their take on the character. |
