Hello there, i am usually excited when the new games come in the Japanese video game convention at Tokyo Game Show 2019, but one thing that bothers is that ANN staff don't report a lot of new video games announcement at TGS 2019 there, will there ever going to be an more information about the new games at TGS 2019?

I'd be happy if ANN added "in an announcement coinciding with the Tokyo Game Show" to the articles they just posted.

I agree with you though, there are good and some Japanese games that could be Japan-exclusive that needs to be shown to the English-speaking fans. |

We currently have two staffers on-site covering TGS. Our regular news team, working from their desks, are also monitoring TGS news for anime related material.
We know it's a major event, and hopefully next year we will be able to send at least one more person. But for this year it we had to weigh the budget of covering TGS versus other coverage and decided that it wasn't worth pulling money away from other, more anime-focused, content.

So TGS 2019 has ended, is there going to be an article about a Roundup of the TGS 2019 and features all the game featured in that event? That's what am i thinking about it.

We did one for TGS last year: animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-09-20/tokyo-game-show-2018-and-trailer-roundup/.137038 and unfortunately it wasn't very successful with our readers (ie: not a lot of people read it, despite a lot of promotion of the article).
I like what you showed from MAL. It's not quite our style, but I'll speak with the editors to see if something can be done on ANN in the future. As for TGS 2019, I don't think a roundup is being planned. |
