An unexpected but welcome bit of news! I hope they will eventually adapt the whole thing.

Well 1st season covered like what 8vols so if they make another 2cour this time aswell we could get pretty far depends on the length of each arcs and what pace they pick but can guess again around 7 or 8vols probably.

Awesome, I was wondering why they didn't make another one of these sooner given the sales and popularity were high.

It's kind of odd that they made the movie first and the arc that introduces the STARS leader who plays a prominent role in the film, after that. It's rather confusing for someone like myself who hasn't read any of the novels yet.

lol wow. Shame it's 8-Bit and not Madhouse tho

Madhouse is a shell of its former self that is barely haning by a thread due to its past reputation. Literally everyone that made their best anime there left to make Mappa and Nut Studio.

Anime Jesus is finally coming back. Maybe it'll finally get a dub now?

Huh if they can’t back any of the original staff then this season might not look as good as the original.

Which could be a big strike against it cause I think this show is more remembered or liked for its fantastic animation.

I'll believe the importance of the staff that left, when these new companies have a catalog of titles that I like to rival Old-Madhouse's.

Yeah, similar situation to if and when we get a NGNL sequel, though in that case the movie is technically a prequel even though its Vol 6 and is relevant to events past that

I don't care for The Irregular at Magic High School but every time I see a years-old show getting a new season, it gives me hope that one of the series that I want will get a continuation...

And what if the new season has a completely different cast working on it & it doesn’t look as good as the first?

Have to wait and see how this goes. It's been while, sometimes they loose their grove like they did with OnePunch. Wasn't same after they changed over the people making it.

Getting this but no S2 of Chivalry means we're still in the bad world line.

Give it time. Given a lot of old IP are either getting new seasons or reboots it may be just a matter of time

The more I look at my old PS3 game, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, the more it still seems to have a somewhat relevant roster in 2019-2020... it's got the siblings in the game.

The series was definitely overdue for more anime.
