I occasionally will indulge in an idol anime, and in this case I would add Ensemble Stars! opening, imaginatively titled "Stars' Ensemble"
 It's more Broadway than Pop, but it's very well put together. In fact, all of the music in this series overachieves compared to the genre's usual standards. Composer Tatsuya KATŌ has a huge resume (look it up on the ANN Encyclopedia), including the Free and Food Wars franchises, not to mention this season's Dr. Stone, and he contributes to Ensemble Stars! like the stone pro that he is.

My favorite OPs of the season are Given, Fruits Basket 2nd cour, Dr. Stone, Lord El Melloi II, and BEM. Demon Slayer had a great OP but I like Lisa’s SAO songs more.

Well, I have to agree on 2 of the songs on this one. But there are still better contenders than what's on the list. Again like what others are saying, the tastes of music differ from one fan to another. Cheers!
