Call me ignorant if you wish, but is the mangaka a man or a woman? The name and self insert drawing suggest man, so outside of being a transman I find it interesting a man would write about this subject matter that wasn't your typical "women on their periods, am I right guys?" style of humor. I could certainly see why some people might take issue with a man writing about this topic, in addition to the claims of previous work of theirs being perceived as sexist.

If I read the article correctly, this hasn't been cancelled in Japan (or in the US) just in South Korea.
