The Dynasty Warriors spin off(or is it called licensed?)games nearly always look better than the actaul Dynasty Warriors games.

That's because those games are typically going for a much different aesthetic than the original Dynasty Wars games have........still largely the same games with the same janky AI, mission objectives, and gameplay (minus some tweaks).
