Just a note that someone added a nasty comment to the poll.

The "X is overrated" argument is tired so I'm just going to toss out that Kakegurui rules and you should give it a shot. Netflix also has the live-action version which is equally interesting and plays it a bit differently.

If all you've got is Netflix to watch streamed anime, I would recommend:

Fate/Zero
Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works]
B: The Beginning
Knights of Sidonia
K-On
Inu Yasha
Violet Evergarden
Code: Geass
MS Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans
MS Gundam Unicorn

IBO is hot garbage. Almost as bad as AGE. S2 is Okada trolling and excess to a T. I was especially upset when I learned Okada specifically objected to Nagai’s far more satisfying ending to put in her troll ending. Definitely do not recommend anyone watch this.

Yeah, the idea was to not just recommend the most obvious stuff.

Wouldn't Code Geass fall under that category?

It's an inherent problem trying to recommend the best stuff that isn't the most obvious stuff. The best member / most popular member of that set is arguably going to be on the list of most obvious stuff (unless you're setting the bar too low, in which case people argue that you left out something that wasn't most obvious.) Compare it to the old inductive proof that all numbers are interesting.

Anyway, it's a mild complaint, but if the idea is to not just recommend the most obvious stuff that shouldn't need introduction/summary/recommending, I would put in a small statement briefly noting the ones you're skipping over, especially for people who don't realize that title X (e.g. Eva) is on Netflix.

It would have been really great to (I am saying this yet again) have an HONORABLE MENTIONS category or in this a you have probably seen this already section.
The number of times this has created a problem for this column is getting a little nuts.

No idea if it's there since I've already watched it three times through fansubs, Toonami, and blu-ray but yeah Kill la Kill would be another pretty great show to binge.

Haikyuu is overrated. There, I said it.

Now go watch BEASTARS.

But what does one do if BEASTARS is also overrated, I wonder.

Guess a girl's gotta resign themselves to repeat viewings of GLITTER FORCE...
